Hospitality through cuisine.
When you travel with Flavors of Italia, the centerpiece of your journey will be the food. In Italy, eating is life. People come to the table, not just to feed their bodies, but to nourish their relationships and souls.
Our goal is to pamper you during your stay. On your culinary vacation, you’ll enjoy:
- A private chef who is approachable and knowledgeable.
- A food and market day. Your chef will take you to the local markets and artisan shops where you’ll select your own fresh ingredients to be included in the evening meal. This tour is an opportunity to get involved in the cooking process.
- Daily breakfast served at your leisure. Dine indoors or out. With advance notice, requests will be met.
- Four communal dinners. It’s an integral part of Italian culture to sit down as a group and share the experiences of the day.
- Aperitivi hour prior to each dinner, served alfresco pool-side or on the large patio overlooking the valley. Mingle with other guests prior to the main course.
- There will always be a supply of snacks in the refrigerator to which you can help yourself.
- Wine will be included at every dinner. There will also be an honor-bar provided for cocktails.
- There will be food demonstrations or edu-tainment about the cuisine and culture (the kitchen is too small for full cooking classes).
